Using MLA Format

Researching and writing essays is a fact of college life! Writing college-level papers requires you to organize, structure and properly cite the sources you use, which is much more formal than the everyday writing you're likely used to.

Master's requires you to use MLA format for your college papers. Here are some resources to help you get started:

As a student at Master’s, you can access the EasyBib website at: You can enter the details of your essay sources – like a book’s ISBN number, the url of a website article, or the name and author of a journal article, and this site will automatically create a properly formatted MLA style “Works Cited” page! It’s almost too good to be true!

You can also save your resource information in your own database to use the next time you visit the site.

Step 1: Go to or click on the SIGN UP LINK AT THE TOP RIGHT OF THE EasyBib home page

Step 2: At the registration page, fill in the appropriate information to create you EasyBib account.

Step 3: Your account is now set up, and you can save and access your bibiliography lists from anywhere.
